Years of support for the orphanage in Kishuro (Bukoba)
For many years, Bollé Bollé has supported a small-scale project in Kishuro, located on Lake Victoria. After Father Bolle's departure to another mission post, Alvera, his former housekeeper, took the initiative to found an orphanage in 1974. Since then, it has provided shelter for 25 to 40 children, ranging in age from 6 months to 18 years. Bollé Bollé provides structural aid and ensures the improvement and/or renovation of the infrastructure.
Structural aid
Bollé Bollé contributes by regularly purchasing food and providing small financial resources for essential purchases such as mattresses and furniture. As Alvera is getting older, Bollé Bollé has decided to cover the wages of the extra staff, ensuring the daily operation of the orphanage remains guaranteed.
Infrastructure

In 2013, a multipurpose room was built that also serves as a dining hall. Later, in 2016, a new building with bedrooms for all children followed. Over the years, all buildings have been equipped with solar panels and solar lighting, providing a sustainable and reliable energy supply.
The autumn of 2018 brought a significant improvement, namely the completion of the sanitary facilities in the dormitory. Since then, children have been able to wash and shower in a bathroom right next to their rooms. Going to the toilet at night is now also possible without leaving the building, a major step forward in comfort and safety.
In 2019, a new kitchen was built, equipped for cooking on charcoal or gas. A sink and water connection have been provided. Next to the kitchen, a storage room was set up for keeping food supplies.
